Bridal Shower #waniXazhar

I am getting married, soon!

This is my first blog entry for 2018. Life has been hectic. So many things to do. Work, wedding stuff, social commitment, planned vacations and family events.

A lot of people are asking about my wedding preparations. My parents help me a lot. I am so thankful for that. They receive help from my extended family, the AKJs. If it were not because of them, I'd be a bridezilla by now. There are just too many things to do. A lot of small trivial things that have to be look into. My mum apparently is an organised person. Now I knew where I got my trait from. Haha

Back to the topic, the reason I am writing this.

My girlfriends threw me a surprised bridal shower yesterday. I was so happy, oh still am until now.

We made plan to meet up yesterday since both Iffah and I will be around in KL this weekend. We planned to have tea at TWG in Pavilion.

Hajar and I took Grab car from Cheras. When we reached, Hajar said we were meeting Iffah and Lala  at Sephora. Little did I know that they have booked a make up session for me. That was a total surprise!

Anyway, the white and red outfit was planned (in case you wonder why we were colour coordinated).

Then we went to TWG where we finally met Lala and Iffah. They were not there in Sephora earlier as they were preparing this for me :

I was truly surprised by the bridal shower. Thank you so much girlfriends. You made me very happy. 

Friends for life! Missing Atil and Irma.

They got me a gift as well, the bride kit. Each of them wrote me a letter with advices on married life. I am going to cling on to those letters and refer to them again and again in future. Some of the things inside the kit will come in handy real soon, LOL. 

I would also like to thank Jai, Syed and Radzi for being such cool husbands for my girlfriends. They took care of Alisha, Ilhan, the twins Danial & Darwish and Sarah while the mommies showered me with so much love. Thanks guys!!

After that, Hajar and I went to Duck Cosmetics. Guess what. We got 20% off since we wore red! Talk about coincidence and good luck. It was my lucky day :)
